Description

100% Sunflower pellets made from the husks of sunflower seeds. Completely natural, no chemicals used. These pellets can be used as a supplement to mushroom cultivation and is a great alternative to soya hull pellets. They are excellent at supplementing the growth of most of our gourmet mushrooms but particularly work well with King Oyster mushrooms due to their oily properties. We have seen a substantial increase in the growth rate and yield when used to grow King Oyster mushrooms. These pellets are great for all growers and are extremely easy to use. Recommended to be mixed with Oak Hardwood Pellets in order to provide the best yield. To aerate the substrate, it is also recommended to use soya hull pellets or similar.

Besides the increased yield when used to grow gourmet mushrooms such as King Oyster mushrooms, mushroom growers utilize pellets due to the increased tidiness and the lack of dust emitted when working with these pellets.
